Instead of having a classic arch which would have obstructed the view, they chose to have a grounded horseshoe arch to stand in the middle of while exchanging their vows.

The sunset in Oia is full of so many pastel hues that it’s reminiscent of rainbow-colored sorbet! Their ceremony took place on a private balcony at Oia Canaves Suites that looked out over the Aegean Sea. The overall design inspiration was taken from the multicolored hues of the ethereal sunset. They specifically chose Oia because of its picturesque beaches, its tranquil feeling of romance and its breathtaking sunsets. This was a major inspiration behind the design and feel of their wedding.
The mood of their elopement was gentle, intentional, gracious and romantic… Elegant and sophisticated… A coming together of two people whose love and appreciation of nature just accented the majestic beauty of the Cycladic island.
